Hunt worthy rivals
Opt in, step into the Crater and you are given one target at a time. Nobody else can join your fight. Win for your target’s loot, a seasonal hunt rating and a permanent hunter career — three separate boards, because they answer three different questions.
How it works
Opt in at the Bounty Hunter lobby — Portal Nexus, Wilderness, Bounty Hunter. Before you agree you see exactly what you would keep and lose. In the Crater only you and your assigned target can attack each other, and nothing there skulls you.
One ruleset: Budget Hunter
Rune and dragon gear, mystic and d’hide, the magic shortbow and the rune crossbow. Bring food and potions; leave your coins at home. The ruleset is checked at the door and for the whole of the fight.
What a win is worth
Your target’s loot, rating points and progress toward the next career rank, with titles, hats and trophies on the way. The hunt creates no coins: the prize is what your target brought, and the cosmetics.

Fair fights
- Leaving an engaged fight — logging out, disconnecting, teleporting — counts as abandoning it. The one who leaves takes the rating loss, and the one left behind gains nothing from it, so walking out cannot be farmed.
- Skips: up to three every 30 minutes. A skip is free when your target has gone to the lobby or broken the ruleset.
- Restocking: head back to the lobby and your target is held for you for two minutes.
- No farming. Two hunters who met in the last two hours are never ranked against each other again — with nobody else about, they are offered unranked practice, and told so. Fights that look arranged are held back for review before they count for anything.
- ::hunt shows where you stand; ::hunt skip, ::hunt risk, ::hunt career and ::hunt rules do what they say.
Wilderness kills outside the hunt have their own board on the highscores.
