Privacy Policy
What we store, why we store it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect the least we can and still run a game with an economy.

1. What we store
- Your login. A game username and a password hash — never the password itself. If you sign in with Discord we store your Discord user id, username, and the email address Discord reports along with whether Discord has verified it.
- Sessions. A hash of your session token, not the token. So a copy of our database is not a set of working keys to your account.
- Connection records. IP address and approximate country for logins and for staff access to the admin panel, kept so account compromise and staff misuse can be investigated after the fact.
- Gameplay. Characters, skills, items, trades and moderation history.
- Purchases. Billing email, a Stripe customer reference, and a record of each order and what it granted. We never see or store your card details — those go directly to Stripe.
2. Why
To let you log in, to keep one person's account separate from another's, to deliver what you bought, to answer support and refund questions, and to detect cheating, account theft and payment fraud. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Who else sees it
- Stripe — payments. Stripe receives your email and payment details directly and is the controller of that data for its own purposes.
- Discord — if you choose to sign in with Discord, and for our community server and support tickets.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of this website, so it sees requests to it.
Staff can see your account, your characters and your purchase history when they hold the relevant permission. Every staff access to that data is logged, including refusals.
4. How long we keep it
Account and gameplay data lasts as long as the account does. Encrypted backups are kept for 48 hours locally and 30 days remotely, so deleted data can persist in a backup until it rotates out. Moderation records and purchase records are kept even after an account is closed: a refund question or a ban appeal cannot be answered from records that were deleted, and payment records are kept as long as the law requires.
5. Your choices
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to close your account and delete what we are not required to keep. Open a ticket in Discord, or email [email protected]. We will ask you to prove you control the account before we act on any of those, because the alternative is handing your data to whoever asks for it.
6. Children
GG RSPS is not directed at children under 13, and Discord's own terms require its users to be at least 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal data, tell us and we will remove it.
7. Cookies
One cookie, holding your session so you stay logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
