Terms of Service
Short, and in plain English. Using GG RSPS — the website, the client or the game — means these apply to you.
Last updated 20 August 2026.
1. Who we are
GG RSPS is a free, independent classic-style game server run as a hobby project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Jagex Ltd., RuneScape, or Discord. Nothing here grants you rights in anyone else's trademarks.
2. Your account
One person may hold up to ten game accounts under a single website login. You are responsible for keeping your password and your Discord account secure, and for everything done through them. Sharing an account, or buying and selling accounts, is not permitted.
We may refuse, suspend or remove an account. Where we do, the reason is recorded.
3. Fair play
The short version: play the game yourself. Specifically, do not use bots, macros, automation or third-party clients that act for you; do not exploit bugs instead of reporting them; do not trade in-game items or accounts for real money; and do not harass other players.
Sanctions are timed and reversible wherever the situation allows, and every one is written to a permanent record with the reason and the staff member who issued it. If you think a sanction was wrong, appeal it in Discord, or email [email protected].
4. Virtual items have no monetary value
Supporter Tokens, in-game items, ranks, coins and progress are a licence to use features of the service. They are not your property, they are not currency, they have no cash value, and they cannot be exchanged for money outside the ways described in our refund policy. They exist only inside GG RSPS and only for as long as GG RSPS runs.
5. Availability, resets and changes
This is a hobby project. There is no uptime guarantee. The game may be taken offline for maintenance, its data may be restored from a backup after a failure, and the service may change or stop entirely. We will give notice where we can, but you should not treat anything in the game as permanently safe.
6. Purchases
Payments are handled by Stripe and priced in Australian dollars. What you can buy, how it is delivered, and how refunds work are set out in the refund policy. Buying anything is optional and never required to play or to compete.
7. Ending your use of the service
You can stop at any time, and you can ask us to close your account — see the privacy policy for what happens to your data. We may end your access if you break these terms.
8. Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and the change is announced in Discord. Continuing to play after that means the new terms apply.
9. Contact
Open a ticket in our Discord, or email [email protected]. Discord is the fastest route to a human, and it is where account, billing and appeal requests are handled. Who runs this project is set out on our contact page.
GG RSPS is an independent, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Jagex Ltd., RuneScape, or Discord.
