What supporting buys
When you buy supporter credits in the Supporter Store, they go to the game account you choose. Credits buy cosmetics from the Wardrobe in Lumbridge, or on the website: outfits, hats and titles that change how you look and nothing else.
- A cosmetic has no stats — no attack, defence, strength, prayer or any other bonus — and no special effects. The game checks every cosmetic in the shop for this automatically.
- A cosmetic is bound to your account. You can wear it and keep it in your bank. If you lose it, destroy it or drop it, you can claim it again from the Wardrobe for free.
- Prices are fixed and published on the store page. There are no mystery boxes, no random rewards and no “chance” of anything.
What money never buys
- Experience, levels, experience boosts or faster training.
- Items, supplies, gear or anything that helps in combat or skilling.
- Gold, or anything that can be turned into gold.
- Better drop rates, extra resources, members-only areas, banking shortcuts or queue skips.
- A head start in leagues, rankings or events.
Why credits and cosmetics can’t be traded
If a paid item could be traded, a player could buy it with real money and sell it to another player for gold — and then buy gear or supplies with that gold. That is paying to win, even if the item itself is “only cosmetic”. So:
- Credits are not items. They are a balance on your account and cannot be traded, dropped or given away.
- Paid cosmetics can’t reach another player by any route: not by trading, the Grand Exchange, dropping them, dying with them, group storage, staking or anything else. If you drop one, only you can see it and pick it back up. If you die, you keep it, whatever you were carrying.
- Paid cosmetics can’t become gold. They can’t be sold to shops or alchemised.
Voting
Voting on listing sites helps new players find the server. Each vote a site confirms earns you vote seals.
- Seals buy vote cosmetics only — a separate set from the supporter cosmetics. Supporter credits can’t buy vote cosmetics and seals can’t buy supporter cosmetics.
- There are no vote experience boosts. Voting never makes you train faster.
- A vote only counts when the site confirms it to us. Clicking a vote link on its own earns nothing, and each site has its own waiting time between votes (usually 12 hours).
- Claim your seals on the vote page or in game with
::vote claim.
Earned rewards stay earned
Some cosmetics are earned by playing — quests, guild contracts, leaderboards, expeditions, PvP. Those are never for sale. Something you see on another player that was won on a leaderboard can’t be bought, and nothing you can buy is made to look like it.
Some shop cosmetics can also be bought with gold you earned in game. That gold is destroyed — it doesn’t go to another player — so buying cosmetics with gold never pays anybody for their credit card.
Staying readable in PvP
Cosmetics are ordinary worn items, not disguises. What you see on a player is what they are wearing: a cosmetic never hides a weapon or makes someone look like they are protected when they are not. If we ever add appearance overrides, they will be switched off wherever they could mislead an opponent.
Refunds and chargebacks
- Refunds are handled under the refund policy. If a purchase is refunded or charged back, the credits from it are removed from your account.
- If you have already spent those credits, we don’t silently take your cosmetics away. The account is flagged for a member of staff to look at and sort out with you.
- Credits have no cash value and can’t be exchanged back for money outside a refund.
If this policy changes
Any change to what money or voting can buy will be announced before it happens, with the reason. If we ever did anything that broke the short version at the top of this page, we would be breaking our own rules — hold us to it.
