Seasonal leagues: planned, not live

Nothing on this page is in the game yet, and there is no start date. This is what the plan is, so you can see where the server is going and hold us to it.

Not live. There is no league world, no league character and no league reward today. When a first season is ready it will be announced on Discord and on this page.

The idea

World 1 stays the main world: your character, your bank and the economy, with no scheduled wipes. A league would run on a separate world, one season at a time, with fresh characters and faster, different progression — tasks and choices that change how you play, not only a higher XP rate.

The first season proposal is Guilds Reborn: a small regional task list on the content that is already tested, a limited choice of skilling modifiers, and gathering, production and exploration paths. No paid choices and no paid rerolls.

What would stay separate

  • League XP, levels, quests, items, gold and equipment would stay in the league. None of it would be copied to the main world.
  • League trading, Grand Exchange orders and rankings would be the league’s own.
  • Your login, your friends and account-bound cosmetics would be shared.
  • At the end of a season its results would be finalised and kept, and eligible players would receive cosmetic titles and trophies in the main world — once.
  • Money would buy nothing in a league either: no head start, no boosts. That part is already policy — see the fair play policy.

Why not yet

A second world splits the players who are online, and a league is only fun when there are enough people in it. The first public season launches only once the main world can support it, after a closed trial. Until then, the daily, weekly and monthly skill boards and the Bounty Hunter season are where the competition is.
